Children's Ministry

Calvary Kids

Partnering with parents to help children know, love, and follow Jesus.

At Calvary Community Church, we believe children are a precious gift from God and an important part of the life of the church. Our Children’s Ministries exist to come alongside parents as they lead their children spiritually and help them grow into passionate followers of Jesus Christ.

Sunday Mornings

Kids Connection

Children from birth through 5th grade are invited to participate in Kids Connection, our Sunday children’s ministry designed to teach God’s Word in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate, and practical.

Children begin worship with their families during the music portion of the service and are then dismissed to Kids Connection before the sermon. During this time, they learn biblical truth through lessons, prayer, music, Bible memory, and meaningful activities that help them connect faith to everyday life.

Our teachers and volunteers are caring, compassionate, and committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child is known, loved, and encouraged.

Safety First

A Safe Place for Children

Your child’s safety matters to us. All Children’s Ministry volunteers are screened and must complete the required approval process before serving. Children are checked in and picked up through our secure check-in process, and children are released only to the parent, guardian, or authorized adult with the matching pick-up tag.

Every volunteer completes background checks and training before serving.

Secure Check-In

Name labels and matching pick-up tags ensure every child is safe.

Together

Our Partnership With Parents

We believe parents are the primary spiritual influence in a child’s life. Our role is to support, encourage, and equip families by providing biblical teaching, helpful resources, and a loving church community where children can grow in faith.

Together, we want to help children:

  • Know Jesus personally
  • Understand God’s Word
  • Learn to pray and trust God
  • Worship with joy
  • Serve others
  • Build friendships in the church
  • Grow as active members of Christ’s body

You are not alone.

Parenting is a calling — and the church is here to walk with you. From Sunday mornings to mid-week groups, we want your family to feel supported every step of the way.
