The Story
From a Caribbean island to the Southern Tier.
Dr. Rev. Theodore A. Griffin is the Lead Pastor of Calvary Community Wesleyan Church in Johnson City, New York. With more than twenty years of pastoral ministry experience, he has devoted his life to proclaiming the Gospel, developing leaders, strengthening families, and helping people experience the life-changing love of Jesus Christ.
Born on the beautiful Caribbean island of Nevis, the birthplace of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, Rev. Dr. Griffin grew up with a deep appreciation for faith, family, and community. Those values continue to shape his ministry today as he seeks to create a church where everyone feels welcomed, encouraged, and equipped to grow in their relationship with Christ.

Rev. Dr. Griffin has been married to his wife, Randy, for 36 years. Randy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of the Virgin Islands. She has faithfully partnered alongside her husband throughout their years of ministry.
Together, they have two adult children, Abena and LiJ, a bonus daughter, Priscilla, and one beloved grandson, Jason.
